一. Overview of RFID Electronic Tags
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) electronic tags are an automatic identification technology that uses radio frequency signals to automatically identify target objects and obtain relevant data. Composed of a chip and an antenna, it can store and transmit digital information and is widely used in logistics tracking, inventory management, asset management, and other fields. The core components of an electronic tag include: a chip (IC), an antenna, and a substrate. The chip is responsible for storing and processing data, the antenna is used to transmit and receive radio frequency signals, and the substrate provides physical support and protection.

二. Types of Electronic RFID Tags
2.1 RFID Inlay
The inlay is the core component of an RFID tag, consisting of a chip, antenna, and substrate. All inlays use a similar structure, with the main differences being the shape and size of the antenna and the type of chip.The chip is bonded to the antenna using anisotropic conductive adhesive (ACA) via a thermoforming process. There are two types of antenna substrates: PET and polyimide. PET is a common and versatile substrate; polyimide is heat-resistant but more expensive. The antenna is manufactured using an aluminum etching process.
2.2 Paper RFID Label
Paper labels are complete label products. The main difference between paper labels and inlay labels is that they have a face paper that can be printed on. The face paper material is available in PET and coated paper.
2.3 Laminated RFID Tags
Laminated tags are made of PVC or PET material and have good durability and waterproof performance, making them suitable for outdoor or harsh environments.
2.4 Anti-Metal RFID Tags
Anti-metal tags are specifically designed for attachment to metal surfaces. They employ a dedicated anti-metal antenna design, or use foam to elevate the inlay to reduce the impact of metal. Materials include ABS, PCB, ceramic, etc., with a reading distance of 3-10 meters.

2.5 Tamper-Proof RFID Tags
Tamper-proof tags are specially designed to ensure they are destroyed upon removal.
Tamper-proof principle 1: The tag has scissor cuts; tearing it off after application will damage the tag.
Tamper-proof principle 2: The antenna is made of a thin ceramic sheet; if forcibly removed after application, the tag will shatter.
2.6 Special-Shaped RFID Tags
Irregularly shaped tags are designed in special shapes according to application scenarios, such as PPS laundry tags, cable tie tags, silicone wristbands, etc., to meet the special needs of different industries.
2.7 Encapsulated RFID Tags
Boxed tags typically have an outer shell made of ABS material, with an inner layer of polyimide material inside, providing excellent protection and durability.
